English Abstract

In this thesis, the online food ordering service problem is studied by considering crowdsourced couriers as the only source of supply for the platform’s capacity. The problem is defined to be dynamic and stochastic in terms of the placement of orders and the availability of couriers along with their acceptance behavior. It is modeled as mixed-integer linear programming that is designed to be the basis for a rolling horizon technique. This rolling technique is developed to be the solution procedure. A computational study is determined to examine the problem results and the sensitivity of the main input parameters for key insights.
