ملخص الرسالة الاسم: عمير بن منصور العنوان: قانون حساب يشابه نيوتن لأقل المتوسطات الرابعة الدرجة العلمية: ماجستير التخصص: الاتصالات البعيدة تاريخ الدرجة العلمية: June 2009 في هذه الرسالة تم تحليل نظام حساب جديد و هو "الفلتر التكييفي المشابة لنيوتن لأقل المتوسطات الرابعة " ، الهدف الأساسي للبحث هو اشتقاق نظام الحساب الجديد و تقييم أدائه في في بيئات تشويش مختلفة ، و بشكل خاص ، تم اشتقاق نظام حساب التحليل التقاربي و نظام حساب تحليل أداء الحالة المستقرة. أخيرا تم تحصيل بعض النتائج من خلال برامج المحاكاة لتدعيم المعلومات النظرية. ماجستير العلوم جامعة الملك فهد للبترول و المعادن الظهران ، المملكة العربية السعودية June 2009

English Abstract

Abstract Name: Umair bin Mansoor Title: Quasi-Newton Least-Mean Fourth Adaptive Algorithm Degree: Master of Science Major Field: Telecommunications Date of Degree: June 2009 In this thesis, a novel Quasi-Newton Least-Mean Fourth (QNLMF) adaptive filtering algorithm is analyzed. The main aim of this research is to derive the QNLMF adaptive algorithm and assess its performance in different noise environments. More specifically, both the convergence analysis and the steady-state performance analysis were derived. Finally, a number of simulation results were carried out to corroborate the theoretical fi ndings.
