    Abstract

    This paper provides a mathematical formulation and two solution algorithms of the problem of spacecraft spin axis attitude determination from noisy measurements.The two developed algorithms are compared through digital simulation and their relative merits in terms of estimation accuracy and computational requirements are discussed.
