Abstract
A single-chip microcontroller-based Arabic, Chinese, English and Hindi clock-calender system is developed and implemented. The system is designed and programmed in such a way that it enables the user to select the desired numerical system and set the corresponding time and date. The system is capable of generating and displaying the time and date of any one of the four languages format: English, Arabic, Hindi or Chinese. This system can be integrated using VLSI technology to build a compact single chip multi-language clock-calender
